Greetings from the Wine Cellar:
In case you haven’t heard, the Old Town Wine Cellar is relocating to an amazing space. It is only two doors away at 255 S. Main Street.
Our new location is twice the size of the current location and will have a front patio and an expansive back garden area at the rear of the building, off Maiden Lane.

We will be relocating the last week of February, just in time for Mardi Gras on Main, and will have some great Mardi Gras swag to give out, while supplies, last so be sure to stop in to see our new space and get some swag.

In the meantime, we are open and pouring our Featured Wines of the Week at our current location. We will also still be at our current location for the upcoming BBQ and Brews Festival on May 21-22, 2025. Be sure to come by to see us and enjoy a glass of wine or cold brew while you are in Downtown for this great event.

CORAVIN® BY THE GLASS OPTIONS

Robert Craig Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Napa Valley, California) $136.99/Bottle

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (Howell Mountain) is another fabulous wine in this range. Inky dark fruit, lavender, wildflowers, jasmine, spice, crème de cassis and pencil shavings are all beautifully delineated. This deep, potent Howell Mountain Cabernet delivers the goods. 96 – Vinious.

Ink Grade 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle

The Ink Grade Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of fresh cassis, pomegranate, and cocoa with elements of thyme, mint, candied orange peels, nutmeg, cloves, and paprika. ($26 per glass)

Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Napa Valley, California) $96.99/Bottle

Aromas of pomegranate, plum and dried blackberry lead to a lavish charge of ripe, dark fruit. In the midst, there’s a hint of barrel toast, first as charcoal and then as fresh wood. The palate bursts with a dynamic and seemingly haphazard array of fruit, acid and tannin, all tied together with fresh mint and graphite. Best of all, this wine is approachable now but will build complexity with time in glass. 97 – Wine Advocate

The midpalate of new leather, fresh wild sage, porcini mushroom, dried black olive, and cedar is carried by balanced freshness and abundant velvety tannins that lead to a long, complex finish of sustained fresh berries, camphor, oak, toasted cinnamon stick, star anise, and dried flowers. 94 – Wine Enthusiast, 94 – Vinious, 92 – James Suckling.

Enchanting aromas of violets, blueberry, dried sage and bay leaf reveal underlying earthen notes of truffle, woodsmoke and charcuterie. The palate entry is juicy and powerful, flooding the mouth with layers of black currant, chocolate, cigar box and toasty oak.
