Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc 2022 (Marlborough, New Zealand) $16.99

Classically Marlborough, Dashwood Sauvignon Blanc is balanced, crisp, and lively. Distinct and punchy with layered aromas of guava, gooseberry, and citrus peel, underpinned with delicate floral and herbaceous notes. A concentrated palate of tropical fruits and minerality with an elegant and energetic finish. Pair it with a shellfish platter of raw oysters, grilled prawns, and steamed crab legs.

A De Arínzano Rosé 2022 (Spain) $19.99

Pale blush pink. Aromas of intense red fruits and citrus notes. Roses and white pepper undertones which blend perfectly into its fruity character. Bursting with refreshing citrus notes, strawberries, orange peel, and pink grapefruit with a persistent finish. Velvety, refined, and elegant.

Notorious Wines Scandalous One Cabernet Noir 2019 (Vin de France, France) $17.99

Lovely freshness for this sulfite-free cuvee. The color is dark, velvety: deep purple with a bluish tint. There is a dominance of red fruits and black fruits on the nose. The red and black fruits are also present on the palate, mixed with mineral and biscuit notes. The tannins are still young, mark the palate and typify this wine, which will soften with time. Pairs well with lamb blanquette, pork curry or soft cheeses.

Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz 2021 (South Australia) $32.99

The 2021 vintage is benchmark Bin 28 – full-bodied, rich, and generous. Matured for 12 months in American oak the sweet fruit characters in the mouth is amplified. Spicy, full throttle and loads of tannin in the mouth. Nicely chewy. Approachable now, but with the capacity to cellar for 30 years.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Cabernet Sauvignon Canoe Ridge 2018 (Columbia Valley, WA) $43.99

The palate of the 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Canoe Ridge is plush with plenty of toasty oak around a core of dark fruits, accompanied by tobacco leaf and chocolate tones. Enjoy this delicious, concentrated effort over the next eight years

Beaulieu Vineyard 2019 Georges de Latour Private Reserve (Napa Valley, California) $155.99/Bottle

Wow! The aromas to this are exceptional, with a tangerine edge to the blackcurrants, graphite, lead pencil, flowers, and wet earth. It changes all the time. So expressive and refined. Full-bodied with great intensity and depth of fruit. The ultra-fine tannins display millions of layers. The texture on the palate is superb and lasts for minutes. This is the new 1974 George de Latour, which was a legend. Real Napa Valley red here. Drinkable now, to understand it, but genuinely great in five to six years and onwards.

Col Solare Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Columbia Valley, Washington) $145.99/Bottle

A study in refinement and elegance, fruit takes a back seat to floral, savory, and mineral elements in the wine’s aromatics of violet, lavender, sage, and subtle black currant. The palate is a velvety mouthfeel and slowly reveals dark-fruit character as it progresses, which lasts long on the palate. This wine will soften with some time.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Alexander Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle

The 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla, and clove. Ruby in color, this elegant wine has great acidity and lift on the mid-palate. Black currant and warm baking spices linger with a deep and fruity finish. It will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 given proper cellaring. Blend: 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot, 0.4% Petit Verdot.

JUSTIN 2019 Isosceles (Paso Robles, California) $89.99/Bottle

Isosceles presents with aromatic notes of ripe blackberry, juicy black plum, and cassis with dried violet, leather, vanilla bean, fresh herbs, camphor, and toasted oak. Full-bodied with baked black cherry pie, fresh mission fig, and black currant on the entry. The midpalate of new leather, fresh wild sage, porcini mushroom, dried black olive, and cedar is carried by balanced freshness and abundant velvety tannins that lead to a long, complex finish of sustained fresh berries, camphor, oak, toasted cinnamon stick, star anise, and dried flowers.

DAOU Reserve 2020 Seventeen Forty (Paso Robles, California) $78.99/Bottle

This is a Cabernet Franc driven wine with a harmonious complement of Merlot. Beguiling aromas of blackberry cobbler, raspberry, crème de cassis and cherry pipe tobacco anticipate hints of toasty oak, black licorice, and pencil shaving. Lush and full bodied, this wine bestows rich flavors of cherry, black plum, dark chocolate, and blueberry compote with lovely accents of Zante currant, graphite, and cinnamon. Solid structure and fine-grained tannins support a lengthy, focused finish, leaving notes of plum and boysenberry underscored by cocoa and black truffle.

Zenato 2017 Amarone Classico (Veneto, Italy) $74.99/Bottle

Dense and concentrated, yet still beautifully balanced and well-integrated, this is classic Amarone. Lush aromas of plums, dates and toasted oak greet the nose. It is rich and full on the palate with layers of ripe, raisiny fruit and super-silky tannins to give it grip on the lengthy finish. A truly elegant, stylish wine.

NEW ARRIVALS

Argiano Brunello Di Montalcino 2019 (Tuscany, Italy) $99.99

Crushed ashen stones, cloves, dried black cherries, rosemary, and balsam herbs create a spice box as the 2019 Brunello di Montalcino blossoms in the glass. This is surprisingly fresh and energetic, nearly juicy in character, yet refined and focused, with silken textures ushering in crisp wild berry fruits and orange tones that slowly saturate the palate. It finishes spicy and long, yet its energy never wavers, with grippy tannins that tug at the cheeks as licorice and cranberry notes fade.

Whitehall Lane Tre Leoni Red Wine (Napa Valley California) $34.99

This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, and Zinfandel has depth, balance, and big flavors. The nose evokes black cherry pie, tar, licorice, black olives, vanilla, pencil shavings, and notes of chocolate. On the palate, it bursts with fresh blackberries, mixed berry cobbler, toasted walnuts, and chocolate-covered cherries. This wine has great texture that ultimately finishes with round, silky smooth tannins.

Weihenstephaner Premium Lager (Germany) $6.99

Delicate aromatic notes are not only perceptible in the aroma but also in the flavor. Mild and drinkable with a light, fine, rounded hop flavor on the palate, this helles is a golden straw color and represents the best of Old Bavaria’s native beverage of choice.
