Greetings from the Wine Cellar:

The Old Town Wine Cellar is OPEN!! Please excuse my frustration, but lately I keep hearing from customers who tell me that they have mentioned to others that they’re going to or have just been to the Cellar, and the response is “aren’t they closed?” So PLEASE help me get the word out that although wine tasting and wine pouring are indeed on hold for the time being in accordance with state government directive, the Cellar is OPEN for retail business, with our regular days and hours of 11AM to 7PM Tuesday – Friday and 10AM to 6PM on Saturday. I’m truly grateful for the support that I’ve received from so many loyal customers over these last six weeks, and I would greatly appreciate it if everyone reading this will try to help spread the word that the Wine Cellar remains fully open. And with that, I hope to see you soon!

NEW WINE & BEER ARRIVALS:

Fess Parker 2017 The Big Easy (Santa Barbara County)   $29.99 This Santa Barbara County Syrah, Grenache and Petite Sirah blend has a bright nose of blackberry, black currant, vanilla, fresh-ground peppercorns and lavender. It’s rich and full-bodied with silky-smooth tannins and abundant dark fruits, edged by pepper-spice and cinnamon accents.

Rabble Wine Company 2018 Rabble Red (Paso Robles)   $14.99 The 2018 Rabble Red is 73% Merlot, 19% Cabernet Sauvignon and 8% Petite Sirah, with all the fruit sourced from the winery’s Mossfire Ranch Vineyard. On the nose vibrant aromas of cherries and blackberries dominate, with a hint of dark chocolate. A rich palate delivers flavors of mixed wild berries and toasted oak on a soft and silky tannic frame.

Martin Ray 2018 Rosé of Pinot Noir (Sonoma County)   $16.99 This rosé shows a beautiful rose petal-pink in the glass, with alluring aromas of citrus, watermelon and white nectarine. Bright fruit flavors of citrus, ripe peach and Rainier cherry are balanced by racy acidity, leading to a delightfully fresh finish with just a hint of peach pit.

Alta Mora 2015 Etna Rosso (Sicily, Italy)   $22.99 The Etna Rosso is 100% Nerello Mascalese, a native Sicilian varietal that grows at an elevation of 4,000 feet on the slopes of the Mount Etna volcano. It’s a lighter bodied, complex red, with an aromatic bouquet and vivid flavors of dried cherry, crushed raspberry and white pepper. Firm, drying tannins and good balancing acidity make this a great choice at the dinner table.

Cheers!
