This week Yuma Parks & Rec Dept. kicks off their 2013 Summer Movie Mania series on Saturday, June 15th with a free outdoor showing of the animated family film “Madascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted” at West Wetlands Park just west of downtown. The movie starts just after sunset at 8:45 PM – bring the family down, set up your lawn chairs, kick back and enjoy our mellow early summer evening weather!

St. Gregory 2011 Pinot Blanc (Mendocino County) $14.99
This Pinot Blanc has a creamy texture, with concentrated aromas of cantaloupe, Meyer lemon and Clementines, along with a light mineral accent. Flavors of pear and tangy citrus mingle on a lively, long finish, giving this wine a classic Burgundian mouthfeel.
Saracina 2009 Pinot Noir (Anderson Valley) $29.99
Scents of Bing cherries, raspberries, wildflowers and a slight earthiness make a compelling, perfumed nose. The palate offers elegance and balance, with supple tannins and fine length. This truly reflects its source, an appellation now recognized as among the world’s best for Pinot Noir.
Buena Vista 2010 Zinfandel (Sonoma County) $15.99

Aromas of blueberry, boysenberry and a slight floral note of violets are followed by traditional flavors of blackberry jam, black currant and spice accents like cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.

¿Por que no? is the quintessential party, pizza, picnic, Bbq and bistro red, thanks to the spirited joy it brings to the palate.
