Greetings from the Wine Cellar:
This week we have a few tried and true favorites that are being revisited as our featured wines of the week. We have also brought in a few new whites, which are very easy sipping during the hot weather, come in and enjoy what is on offer or pick a bottle to enjoy while you are here.

FEATURED WINES THIS WEEK
Textbook 2021 Chardonnay (Napa Valley) $24.99
This opens with floral scents of honeysuckle, plus citrus and stone fruits. A lively palate of fig, apricot, pear, melon and apple fruit has a crème brulee richness and toasted oak spice that imparts a creamy and silky texture. The finish is perfectly balanced with bright acidity and complex layers that continue to intrigue.
($10 per glass)
Erath 2019 Resplendent Pinot Noir (Willamette Valley) $19.99
Resplendent exudes bright aromas of ripe black cherry, currant and plum, seasoned by notes of rose petals and lavender. Varietal flavors of pomegranate, cranberry and cherry coat the palate with a pleasing weight. Tannins and acidity are well balanced, for a smooth and lengthy finish.

Paul Buisse 2020 Chinon (Loire River Valley, France) $17.99
This Loire Valley Cabernet Franc begins with an enticing aroma full of bright, ripe berry fruit along with hints of dry herbs. The palate is focused on juicy red fruit flavors, with light accents of herbs and a little spice as well. With soft tannins and balanced acidity this is very easy to drink. It ends long and dry.

Dave Phinney Locations ES (Spain) $19.99
Locations ES is a blend of Garnacha from the Priorat, Tempranillo from Rioja and Carignan from Ribera del Duero. Aromas of dark cherry and exotic spices mingle on the nose. The entry is rich, with a berry compote, floral and plum character supported by bright acidity. The finish is long and pleasing, with a persistent mocha tinge and silky tannins.

DeLille Cellars 2020 Métier Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley) $29.99
DeLille’s Métier Cabernet opens with appealing aromas of blueberry and dark plum along with exotic notes of green pepper and cumin. They lead to plump and accessible dark fruit flavors on a soft and highly approachable palate, with firm yet silky tannins and a lengthy finish.

NEW ARRIVALS
Natura 2021 Sauvignon Blanc (Chile) $14.99
Light yellow in color, Natura Sauvignon Blanc displays a complex nose of lime and grapefruit blended with herbs such as boxwood. Citrus and herb notes reappear on the palate. A fresh, bright and pleasing wine with nicely balanced acidity and good persistence. The Chilean Sauvignon Blanc wine is made with organically grown grapes and is aged for 3 months in stainless steel tanks prior to release. Enjoy this fresh wine with ceviche, sushi, smoked ham, goat cheese and salads.
Sea Pearl 2022 Sauvignon Blanc (Marlborough, New Zealand) $15.99
Sea Pearl 2022 Sauvignon Blanc was crafted from vineyards across Marlborough’s sub-regions of Awatere Valley. The fruit was carefully selected and then pressed off immediately with minimal skin contact, resulting in a wine full of fresh aromas and classic Marlborough flavors of citrus, gooseberries and flinty mineral notes typical of Awatere Valley.
Tombstone Brewing Co. Oregon Lots II Hazy Double IPA (Tombstone, AZ) $5.99
This hazy Double IPA features exclusively Oregon-grown hops hand selected by our brewers. We use Pilsner malt and a ridiculous amount of the finest Strata, Comet, and Amarillo hops. Intensely peachy, tropical, and citrusy aromas and flavors!
