Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc-Viognier 2023 (Clarksburg, California) $15.99/Bottle
Crisp, bright, and vivacious! The Chenin aromatics bring citrus characters of tangerine, yuzu, pear, orange blossom, and honeydew melon. The Viognier aromatics tend to be a little heavier on stone fruit of peach and mango with hints of honeysuckle. The mouthfeel is clean, crisp with no oak or malolactic fermentation.

J. Lohr Wildflower Valdiguie 2022 (Arroyo Seco, Monterey) $15.99/Bottle
Crafted in the style of Beaujolais wines, this is a light-bodied red wine. Served slightly chilled, this wine displays inviting fresh raspberry, cranberry, and pomegranate aromas, with a bit of black pepper and hibiscus. Flavors of brambly, bright red berry with a touch of spice, mid-palate acidity lead to a juicy, mouthwatering finish.

Vigneti del Salento I Muri Negroamaro (Puglia, Italy) $16.99/Bottle
Ruby red color with purple hues; intense, vinous, spicy and fruity, with notes of black berries (black currants and berries). A medium bodied wine, velvety, very good balance between freshness and warm feelings, long lasting and savory aftertaste.

Penfolds Max’s Shiraz-Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (South Australia) $19.99/Bottle
Dense, bold crimson core with garnet edges. Primary fruits lead the charge with fresh blackberries, mulberry compote and poached plums. A slightly herbaceous note of mulberry leaf and bay leaf revealing the Cabernet Sauvignon inclusion. Supportive oak helps frame the wine but remains integrated and balanced.

Pasqua 2021 Primitivo Desire Lush & Zin (Puglia, Italy) $21.99/Bottle
While Italian Primitivo can be a bit sterner and more tannic than Zinfandel, this silky-smooth version combines the best from both styles. Luscious and seductive cassis, blackberry and dark plum notes burst out of the glass while the first sip reveals a generous full body, velvety texture, and a bold finish with plenty of seductive fruit notes. Great paired with rich red meat dishes like barbecued ribs, a ribeye steak, or a hearty beef or game stew.

Dana Estates Onda Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Napa Valley, California) $310.99/Bottle
The 2019 Onda Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberries, baking spice, and plum tart. Intermingled with the fruit are notes of coffee and a hint of graphite. Rich fruit with dense flavors of black cherries, plums, and currants layer with graphite and a briny minerality. The velvety mid-palate transitions to flavors of black truffle, brioche, and blackberry on the finish. The predominantly hillside provenance of the grapes lends a broad mouth coating tannin backbone.

Beaulieu Vineyard 2019 Georges de Latour Private Reserve (Napa Valley, California) $155.99/Bottle
Wow! The aromas are exceptional, with a tangerine edge to the blackcurrants, graphite, lead pencil, flowers, and wet earth. It changes all the time. Full-bodied with great intensity and depth of fruit. The ultra-fine tannins display millions of layers. The texture on the palate is superb and lasts for minutes. This is the new 1974 George de Latour, which was a legend.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Alexander Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle
The 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla, and clove. Ruby in color, this elegant wine has great acidity and lift on the mid-palate. Black currant and warm baking spices linger with a deep and fruity finish. It will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 given proper cellaring. Blend: 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot, 0.4% Petit Verdot.

JUSTIN 2019 Isosceles (Paso Robles, California) $89.99/Bottle
Isosceles presents with aromatic notes of ripe blackberry, juicy black plum, and cassis with dried violet, leather, vanilla bean, fresh herbs, camphor, and toasted oak. Full-bodied with baked black cherry pie, fresh mission fig, and black currant on the entry. The midpalate of new leather, fresh wild sage, porcini mushroom, dried black olive, and cedar is carried by balanced freshness and abundant velvety tannins that lead to a long, complex finish of sustained fresh berries, camphor, oak, toasted cinnamon stick, star anise, and dried flowers.

DAOU Reserve 2020 Seventeen Forty (Paso Robles, California) $78.99/Bottle
This is a Cabernet Franc driven wine with a harmonious complement of Merlot. Beguiling aromas of blackberry cobbler, raspberry, crème de cassis and cherry pipe tobacco anticipate hints of toasty oak, black licorice, and pencil shaving. Lush and full bodied, this wine bestows rich flavors of cherry, black plum, dark chocolate, and blueberry compote with lovely accents of Zante currant, graphite, and cinnamon. Solid structure and fine-grained tannins support a lengthy, focused finish, leaving notes of plum and boysenberry underscored by cocoa and black truffle.

NEW ARRIVALS
Nickel & Nickel State Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Yountville, California) $134.99
From the outset, this Napa Valley Cabernet is one powerful, deeply expressive Cabernet with heady black currant, plum, and cedar aromas leading into a big, juicy entry. Layered currant and black cherry flavors are accented by elegant clove notes. Bold, coating tannins support and frame the entire wine, and hints of wet slate add dimension to a dark, brooding finish.
La Petite Roche Saumur Brut (Loire Valley, France) $20.99
Saumur brut is a blend of Chenin Blanc (80%) and Chardonnay (20%). Straw yellow color with green reflections. an attractively crisp and textured wine. Aged in the caves of Saumur, the wine bubbles with a nutty character as well as green apples and great acidity. Great as an Aperitif or with dessert.
J Vineyards California Pinot Gris 2023 (California) $15.99
This widely available wine is friendly, fruity and a touch complex, with ample crisp apple, white peach and lemon zest aromas leading to good, linear acidity supporting fresh flavors. Has a slight grippy feel and light floral notes from the addition of small amounts of muscat, gewurztraminer and chardonnay.
