DeLille Métier Sauvignon Blanc 2022 (Columbia Valley, Washington) $16.99/Bottle

The vibrant, enticing 2022 Métier Sauvignon Blanc displays a medley of fruit on the nose, with tree fruit, citrus and pineapple. Bright and silky on the palate, this wine balances generous fruit flavors on a lively structure and a lengthy finish.

Rebellious 2021 Pinot Noir (California) $23.99/Bottle

This soft and silky wine is Pinot Noir with a splash of Chardonnay and Sangiovese entices with crushed raspberry and hints of sandalwood and wild licorice on the nose. Zesty flavors of dark bing cherry, raspberry preserves, and allspice are balanced with a lush texture and lengthy finish. ($10 by the glass)

Argiano Non Confunditur Toscana Rosso 2021 (Tuscany, Italy) $23.99/Bottle

This Tuscan is a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sangiovese with fruity notes and a touch of oak on the nose. The juicy, medium-bodied palate is coated with fine, even tannins. Good, medium-long finish to close with a peppery edge at the end.

Flying Leap Vineyards Grenache (Elgin, Arizona) $29.99/Bottle

Made with Grenache grapes sourced from diverse collections including Flying Leap vineyards, this production is true to form – cosmopolitan, smooth, nicely-balanced and medium-bodied with mouthwatering flavors of raspberry, candied fruit roll-up, and a beautiful cinnamon finish. The 2021 D2 shows the promise of the vintage, with deep concentration and outstanding quality. Initial aromas of blackberry, cassis and green peppercorn lead to a palate bursting with beautiful richness and texture. The high-quality, fine-grained tannins of this wine allow approachability in its youth yet the to provide aging for 15+ years. Red currant, Bing Cherry and toasty oak flavors develop with time, leading to a lengthy finish with impressive weight.

Dana Estates Onda Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Napa Valley, California) $310.99/Bottle

The 2019 Onda Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberries, baking spice, and plum tart. Intermingled with the fruit are notes of coffee and a hint of graphite. Rich fruit with dense flavors of black cherries, plums, and currants layer with graphite and a briny minerality. The velvety mid-palate transitions to flavors of black truffle, brioche, and blackberry on the finish. The predominantly hillside provenance of the grapes lends a broad mouth coating tannin backbone.

Beaulieu Vineyard 2019 Georges de Latour Private Reserve (Napa Valley, California) $155.99/Bottle

Wow! The aromas are exceptional, with a tangerine edge to the blackcurrants, graphite, lead pencil, flowers, and wet earth. It changes all the time. Full-bodied with great intensity and depth of fruit. The ultra-fine tannins display millions of layers. The texture on the palate is superb and lasts for minutes. This is the new 1974 George de Latour, which was a legend.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Alexander Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle

The 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla, and clove. Ruby in color, this elegant wine has great acidity and lift on the mid-palate. Black currant and warm baking spices linger with a deep and fruity finish. It will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 given proper cellaring. Blend: 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot, 0.4% Petit Verdot.

JUSTIN 2019 Isosceles (Paso Robles, California) $89.99/Bottle

Isosceles presents with aromatic notes of ripe blackberry, juicy black plum, and cassis with dried violet, leather, vanilla bean, fresh herbs, camphor, and toasted oak. Full-bodied with baked black cherry pie, fresh mission fig, and black currant on the entry. The midpalate of new leather, fresh wild sage, porcini mushroom, dried black olive, and cedar is carried by balanced freshness and abundant velvety tannins that lead to a long, complex finish of sustained fresh berries, camphor, oak, toasted cinnamon stick, star anise, and dried flowers.

DAOU Reserve 2020 Seventeen Forty (Paso Robles, California) $78.99/Bottle

This is a Cabernet Franc driven wine with a harmonious complement of Merlot. Beguiling aromas of blackberry cobbler, raspberry, crème de cassis and cherry pipe tobacco anticipate hints of toasty oak, black licorice, and pencil shaving. Lush and full bodied, this wine bestows rich flavors of cherry, black plum, dark chocolate, and blueberry compote with lovely accents of Zante currant, graphite, and cinnamon. Solid structure and fine-grained tannins support a lengthy, focused finish, leaving notes of plum and boysenberry underscored by cocoa and black truffle.

Zenato 2017 Amarone Classico (Veneto, Italy) $74.99/Bottle

Dense and concentrated, yet still beautifully balanced and well-integrated, this is classic Amarone. Lush aromas of plums, dates and toasted oak greet the nose. It’s rich and full on the palate with layers of ripe, raisiny fruit and super-silky tannins to give it grip on the lengthy finish. A truly elegant, stylish wine.

NEW ARRIVALS

Veltins Radler (Germany) $4.99/can

The Veltins Radler offers a thirst-quenching sight. The sparkling and bright yellow of the shandy is crowned with a white and firm foam head. The smell is initially reminiscent of intense citrus fruits embedded in a floral malt and hop aroma. When drunk, the Radler impresses with its fine, sparkling, tangy fruit acid, which is surrounded by a soft sweetness and is rounded by a noble hop bitterness in the finish. A refreshingly fruity experience that leaves a harmonious lime taste afterwards.

Langtry Tephra Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Lake County, California) $39.99/bottle

The 2021 Tephra Ridge Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red currants, tobacco leaf, baking spices, and is earth driven. This wine has silky tannins layered with bright red fruit and baking spices with a smooth finish.

Villa Wolf Pfalz Gewurztraminer 2019 (Pfalz, Germany) $16.99/bottle

Villa Wolf Gewürztraminer is clean, fruity, and wonderfully light on its feet. It shows off the aromatic charm of the variety without becoming heavy or ponderous. Harvested at optimal ripeness, the wine has a deliciously juicy texture and a delightfully delicate aroma of spice and fresh roses. It is very refreshing to drink on its own and makes a perfect accompaniment to spicy cuisines and pungent cheeses, such as Munster, a classic pairing.
