Greetings from the Wine Cellar:

National Relaxation Day was last week, and frankly there’s simply no better way to relax than with a cool, crisp bottle of dry rosé.  The Old Town Wine Cellar is happy to be a part of Visit Yuma’s (aka Yuma Visitors Bureau) latest giveaway, featuring items donated from several of our fellow downtown businesses, along with a bottle of our own Martin Ray Rosé of Pinot Noir.  To participate in the giveaway, check out Visit Yuma on Facebook from now until August 31^st.  Please like Old Town Wine Cellar and Visit Yuma on Facebook as well as fellow Downtown businesses Kactus Kush CBD, Bare Naked Soap Co, and Dream Gift Shop for a chance to win.  And special thanks to Visit Yuma for this great promotion, and for their continuing support of all our downtown businesses during this extremely challenging time!

Masi 2013 Amarone Costasera (Veneto, Italy)    $52.99
Masi’s Costasera Amarone exudes a fragrant bouquet of black currants, blackberries, vanilla and toasted almonds. It’s rich and warm in the mouth, with delicious flavors of ripe, raisined fruit accented by a spicy cinnamon and baking spice edge.  A soft, silky texture frames the savory finish.

Rocca Delle Macie 2018 Maccione Vermentino (Tuscany, Italy)    $14.99
Vermentino is a native Italian grape varietal that makes a great alternative to the ubiquitous Pinot Grigio.  Rocca Delle Macie’s Maccione has a fine measure of complexity, offering a delicious mix of tangy citrus, green apple and pineapple flavors edged with hints of ginger and hazelnuts.

Angeline 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Sonoma County)    $15.99
Softly textured, rich in flavor and moderate in tannins, this is a supple and full-bodied Cabernet with generous flavors of berries, cedar, green olives and dark chocolate.  A light degree of toast from oak aging gives additional complexity to the polished finish.
