This week have a few very nice options to choose from so come on in and try something a bit different.

I would also like thank everyone that took the time to send me Happy Birthday wishes or came in Friday last week to help me celebrate. We had a ton with lots of food and great wines. Thank you to everyone that made this a big surprise for me.

Wonderful to pair with prosciutto and arugula pizza or a mouthwatering meat lasagna.

Zenato 2017 Amarone Classico (Veneto, Italy)

Dense and concentrated, yet still beautifully balanced and well-integrated, this is classic Amarone. Lush aromas of plums, dates and toasted oak greet the nose. Seven Apart 2019 Expedition Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley, California)

This luscious wine is bright, polished and high-powered. The red-purple hue is notable, hinting at the freshness and intensity of the aromas. Red cherry, raspberry, and fresh tobacco come to mind, with notes of cinnamon, vanilla, graphite, and California bay. On the palate there is a rush of red fruits, which continues to build in intensity as the wine is savored. The texture is incredibly fine-grained and silky, while the fruit at the wine’s core expands and lengthens on the finish.
