There are tons great shopping and entertainment options in Downtown and with the Fall season almost here the weather is perfect to stroll around and visit our local small businesses in Historic Downtown Yuma. Montes Limited Selection Sauvignon Blanc 2021 (Leyda Valley, Chile) $17.99/Bottle

Pale-yellow color, with green tones. The nose faithfully reflects the wine’s origin, with clear, impressive notes of white fruit and typical aromas of passion fruit and fresh pineapple. There are elegant floral notes of orange blossom. The wine is piercing and vibrant on the palate, with a light body and long finish. Fresh flavors explode on the palate, with notes of yellow grapefruit, and great minerality. Pair with clams, salmon, Chilean rock cod, or garlic shrimp.

Montes Alpha Series Pinot Noir 2021 (Colchagua Valley, Chile) $25.99/Bottle

A striking ruby red with violet hue. The aromatic nose features notes of strawberries, cherry liqueur, wildflowers, and violets. The palate is juicy, with very balanced acidity and the sweetness of round, ripe tannins. The generous and elegant mid-palate accentuates all the sensations perceived on the nose coupled with a remarkable finish.

Black Slate Priorat Escaladei Vi de la Vila 2019 (Priorat, Spain) $24.99/Bottle

Black Slate Escaladei, a blend of Garnatxa, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carinyena, sourced from the foothills of the Montsant mountains. It stands out among its Black Slate siblings as the most elegant of the lineup, being inclined more towards red fruit than black, with a high-toned minerality and spiciness.

Gérard Bertrand Heritage An 1152 Malbec 2020 (Cahors, France) $24.99/Bottle

From world renown biodynamic vigneron and winemaker, Gérard Bertrand, Heritage An 1152 is a broody, fully bodied, and seductively smooth Malbec, savory and ultra-balanced with layers of blueberry, ripe dark fruits, vanilla, subtle dark spices, fresh acidity, firm but approachable fine-grained tannins with a ripe blueberry medium-plus-length finish. So smooth and delicious, enjoy it now through 2028. If having tonight, decant it for one hour prior to pouring it with a juicy filet mignon.

Justin Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Paso Robles, California) $29.99/Bottle

Deeply colored with a dark ruby core that lightens at the rim of the glass, with moderately thick, slow-forming tears. Warmly aromatic with ripe red and black cherry notes, cigar box, and toasted oak with savory elements of vanilla and caramel with fresh sage, and hints of cocoa. Moderate-plus bodied with ripe red plum, black cherry, and blackberry on the entry. The fresh midpalate turns savory with dried herbs, barrel spice, and vanilla supported by smooth tannins. The complex finish shows lingering ripe red and black fruit and spice mixed with dark caramel, dried floral notes, and mint elements.

Dana Estates Onda Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Napa Valley, California) $310.99/Bottle

The 2019 Onda Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of blackberries, baking spice, and plum tart. Intermingled with the fruit are notes of coffee and a hint of graphite. Rich fruit with dense flavors of black cherries, plums, and currants layer with graphite and a briny minerality. The velvety mid-palate transitions to flavors of black truffle, brioche, and blackberry on the finish. The predominantly hillside provenance of the grapes lends a broad mouth coating tannin backbone.

Beaulieu Vineyard 2019 Georges de Latour Private Reserve (Napa Valley, California) $155.99/Bottle

Wow! The aromas are exceptional, with a tangerine edge to the blackcurrants, graphite, lead pencil, flowers, and wet earth. It changes all the time. Full-bodied with great intensity and depth of fruit. The ultra-fine tannins display millions of layers. The texture on the palate is superb and lasts for minutes. This is the new 1974 George de Latour, which was a legend.

Ink Grade 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle

The Ink Grade Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a nose of fresh cassis, pomegranate, and cocoa with elements of thyme, mint, candied orange peels, nutmeg, cloves, and paprika. The palate is linear throughout with a consistent midpalate of bright and lifted acidity and well-integrated raw mountain tannins that close in a persistent finish.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Alexander Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle

The 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla, and clove. Ruby in color, this elegant wine has great acidity and lift on the mid-palate. Black currant and warm baking spices linger with a deep and fruity finish. It will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 given proper cellaring. Blend: 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot, 0.4% Petit Verdot.

JUSTIN 2019 Isosceles (Paso Robles, California) $89.99/Bottle

Isosceles presents with aromatic notes of ripe blackberry, juicy black plum, and cassis with dried violet, leather, vanilla bean, fresh herbs, camphor, and toasted oak. Full-bodied with baked black cherry pie, fresh mission fig, and black currant on the entry. The midpalate of new leather, fresh wild sage, porcini mushroom, dried black olive, and cedar is carried by balanced freshness and abundant velvety tannins that lead to a long, complex finish of sustained fresh berries, camphor, oak, toasted cinnamon stick, star anise, and dried flowers.

Robert Craig Affinity Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Napa Valley, California) $72.99/Bottle

This Howell Mountain wine is big with brawny structure to boot. Dark, explosive cassis fruit, lead pencil, spice box, and fresh tobacco play on the palate and in the aroma. The wine is smooth, broad mouthfeel despite its age worthiness. Careful fermentation and farming for resolved tannins allow this wine to enjoy while young, but the cellar will reveal its true nature in a few years.

Bella Union by Far Niente Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Napa Valley, California) $65.99

Bella Union Napa Valley Cabernet possesses beautiful and intriguing aromas of dark plum, black cherry, hints of clove and barrel spice. The palate is well-structured with velvety tannins complemented by generous layers of fruit flavors of blackberry, fig and raspberry preserves that give way to a melting finish. A seductive style, with a creamy, polished feel to the mix of plum pâte de fruit, cassis, and raspberry puree flavors, which have a subtle sheen of singed vanilla toast and light savory flecks through the finish.

Château Clarke Bordeaux 2012 (Listrac-Médoc, France) $48.99

This Bordeaux opens with aromas of blackberry, currant, licorice, spice, and leather Heady with ripe black currant fruit with cedar, clove, and violet aromas. Round and dense with baked plum flavors balanced by chewy tannins and moderate acidity. It is an excellent choice if you enjoy wines with a balance of fruitiness and oakiness.

Drekker Brewing Co. Key Lime Pie Sour Smoothie (Fargo, North Dakota) $7.99

This smoothie style sour was brewed with tons of Lime, Banana, Pear, Vanilla Soft Serve Ice Cream, Cinnamon, Lactose and Granola to taste just like Key Lime pie in a glass.
