Floral aromas of citrus blossom and jasmine are complemented by a touch of green apple and ruby grapefruit. This bright, refreshing white evolves on the palate, combining flavors of Honey Crisp apple, nectarine and white peach with a brisk acidity to give it an invigoratingly dry finish.

Sassoregale 2018 Sangiovese (Tuscany, Italy) $17.99

A perfect expression of Tuscan Sangiovese, this shows classic varietal aromas of spiced black cherries, accented with subtle hints of dry herbs and earth. On the palate, a bath of sweet red currants is supported by gripping tannins, finishing up with a savory richness.

Spellbound 2019 Petite Sirah (California) $14.99

Once one of the most widely planted wine grapes in California, Petite Sirah is famous for its inky color, lush texture and vivid dark fruit character. This one is reminiscent of a fresh-baked cherry cobbler, with mocha and coffee accents added in.

Neyers Vineyards 2019 Sage Canyon Red (California) $22.99

A “Rhone-style” blend of Carignan, Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah, this wine offers an exotic and aromatic nose of red cherries, ginger, allspice, black tea and fresh-ground pepper. The palate is marked by an attractive suppleness and a fine blend of fruity and savory elements.

DeLille Cellars 2020 Métier Cabernet Sauvignon (Columbia Valley) $29.99

DeLille’s Métier Cabernet opens with appealing aromas of blueberry and dark plum along with exotic notes of green pepper and cumin. They lead to plump and accessible dark fruit flavors on a soft and highly approachable palate, with firm yet silky tannins and a lengthy finish.

NEW WINE & BEER ARRIVALS

Merryvale 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) $72.99

This is classic Napa Cabernet, offering forth scents of ripe blackberry, sweet vanilla and juicy black cherry, plus hints of dusty cedar. The palate is abundant and lively, packed to the brim with juicy berry and red cherry fruit. The flavors are harmoniously balanced by a well-structured mouthfeel of velvet tannins.

Lucien Albrecht Crémant d’Alsace Brut (Alsace, France) $19.99

Led by Pinot Blanc, this Crémant Brut has both freshness and fine structure. Riesling adds definition to the blend and Pinot Gris contributes a bit of creaminess and verve. A brilliant golden color in the glass, this exhibits a bright floral nose, fine and persistent bubbles, and an elegant, balanced palate.

Lamole di Lamole 2019 Chianti Classico (Tuscany, Italy) $24.99

The 2019 Lamole di Lamole Chianti Classico is a deep ruby red, opening on a dark cherry, floral and sweet spice-filled bouquet. On the palate, a core of pure black cherry, raspberry and black currant fruit is supported by a firm, elegant tannic structure, coming to a savory finish.
