Greetings from the Wine Cellar:

This week there are some great things going on in Historic Downtown Yuma. With this being a new month, First Friday will be going on this Friday with the Downtown merchants staying open later than normal, so come down and support the many small local businesses in the Downtown area. The Old Town Wine Cellar is open Tuesday-Thursday for our normal hours of 11:00 am to 7:00 pm but will be open this Friday until 8:00 pm. Then on Saturday October 7th, the Tacos and Tunes Block Party is happening in Historic Downtown Yuma from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. There will be live entertain, a car show, and of course some of the best Tacos around. There will be cold brews available and of course at the Old Town Wine Cellar you will find the best wine available in Yuma to enjoy in our establishment or pick up a bottle to enjoy after the event.

For this week’s Featured Wines we are highlighting wines exclusively from Caymus Vineyards. The Wagner family of wines are best known for their legendary Caymus label, but did you know there are also several other labels produced by Caymus Vineyards. You can try all of these outstanding wines for $12.00 and or have a glass of your favorite; by the glass pours listed below.

We also have a great selection of our premium wines, including Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon, available this week through our Coravin® pours (5 oz. per glass).

Status for the new Patio: We are getting very close to being able to sit outside and enjoy our cooler weather while having a glass of wine or a cold brew. Last thing to complete is replacement of the doors to the patio and then it will be open for business.
