Greetings from the Wine Cellar:

Here is some good news to accompany the welcome arrival of Fall in Yuma – with the arrival of the cooler season, my good friend Mario Ghedin has re-opened his Italian deli restaurant, Autentico Sapore Italiano, in the Colorado River State Historic Park at 201 N. 4th Avenue here in Historic Downtown. Mario has expanded his menu offerings, and now features great pizza along with his superb antipasti choices. Plus, he now has a liquor license, so wine is available as well (Italian of course!)

Open hours are Tuesday thru Sunday 11AM to 5PM, telephone is 928-259-9333. As before, access to the Deli is thru the Historic Park Visitors Center. We went this past Sunday, and had a great time – delicious food served on the patio in a beautiful park setting. So be sure to check out Autentico Sapore Italiano soon, and tell Mario that Mike at the Wine Cellar says ciao!
