Rocca Delle Macie 2018 Maccione Vermentino (Tuscany, Italy) $14.99

Vermentino is a native Italian white varietal that makes a fine alternative to the ubiquitous Pinot Grigio. The Maccione offers a delicious mix of tangy citrus, green apple and pineapple flavors edged with hints of ginger and hazelnut.

Bewitched 2020 Pinot Noir (Russian River Valley) $22.99

Bewitched is textbook Russian River Valley Pinot. Aromas of dark raspberries and cherries emerge on the nose, with a hint of rose petals. The palate offers rich black fruit flavors plus accent of spice and black tea. This is an elegant and layered wine with supple tannins.

Bodegas Muriel 2018 Rioja Crianza (Rioja, Spain) $14.99

This Crianza is deep ruby in color with a garnet edge. The bouquet is redolent of red cherry fruit with a hint of leather and spices. On the palate, black cherry and brambly ripe berry fruit flavors are uplifted by complex spice and oak tones.

Ken Wright Cellars 2019 Tyrus Evan Syrah (Walla Walla Valley) $24.99

Ken Wright’s ‘Tyrus Evan’ is a world-class Syrah, made with fruit sourced from the renowned Seven Hills Vineyard in Washington’s Walla Walla Valley. Plush, dark flavors of cocoa, cassis, black currant and boysenberry are accented by the classic Syrah spicy/earthy character.

Chateau Ste. Michelle 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon, Canoe Ridge Estate (Columbia Valley) $29.99

Exuding aromas of sweet cassis fruit, pipe tobacco and savory spice, the 2018 Canoe Ridge Estate Cabernet Sauvignon is deep, rich and velvety with excellent balance and structure, and a generous core of dark fruit that ends in a lingering, sumptuous finish.

The fruit for ZD California Chardonnay is sourced from premium coastal appellations in Carneros, Sonoma, Monterey and Santa Barbara County. Bright aromas of guava and citrus fruits are accented by hints of orange blossoms and sweet vanilla. The palate is creamy and lush, with pleasant acidity and subtle, finely integrated oak.

Hearst Ranch 2019 The Pergola Petite Sirah (Paso Robles) $24.99

This Petite is smooth, rich and polished, with layers of blackberry, blueberry and plum fruit. Lush and super-saturated, it totally coats the palate, with floral and spice elements adding to its abundantly ripe black fruit flavors. It’s a a big, bold, yet silky-smooth mouthful of red.

Jadix 2020 Picpoul de Pinet (Languedoc, France) $14.99

This wine, made entirely from the Picpoul varietal native to southern France, has a golden hue with shimmering flashes. An intense, complex nose has scents of ripe fruit, citrus peel, honey and white flowers. It has a rich yet elegant feel on the palate, with a crisp freshness through the finish.
