Wanted to let you know about a couple of great events happening in Downtown Yuma this weekend.
Truck Fest: Saturday October 26th on Main Street from 10:00am to 5:00pm. Come down to check out some very cool trucks. for more information, contact Martin at 928-580-7235.
3rd annual Pup-o-Ween: Sunday October 27th on patio at the Prison Hill Brewing Company from 11:00am to 3:00pm. Break out those Furr baby costumes and bring them down to strut their stuff: Dog costume contest and prizes at 2:00pm.

Fontana Candida 2021 Frascati (Lazio, Italy) $13.99/Bottle
A blend of 60% Malvasia Bianca di Candia, 30% Trebbiano Toscano and 10% Malvasia del Lazio. Clear, pale yellow with a green hue. The nose is clean, with ripe golden apple, ripe lemon, unripe peach, white flower, almond milk, and anise. No oak. Dry, with some sweet fruit in the fore palate complicated by a slightly bitter finish.

Banfi Chianti Classico Riserva 2016 (Tuscany, Italy) $22.99/Bottle
This wine is a deep ruby-red color with a rich bouquet of cherries, plums, and iris. The palate presents deep cherry and leather flavors with subtle wood notes, supple tannins, good acidity, and a lingering finish. Blend of Sangiovese, Canaiolo Nero, and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Great pairings include flavorful roasts, pastas, and cheeses.

Goldschmidt Vineyard Chelsea Merlot 2022 (Alexander Valley) $25.99/Bottle
This vintage is characterized by an amazing bright ruby color; deep aromas of black currant and blueberries intertwined with delicate notes of vanilla and dark chocolate. The mouth shows a delicate and complex symphony of soft and round tannins, along with velvety layers of dark fruit, soft spices and oak. The finish is elegant and very long, reminding one what a well-crafted Merlot can offer.

Montes Alpha Series Carmenère 2021 (Colchagua Valley, Chile) $22.99/Bottle
Deep purplish red in color. The intense nose offers pleasing notes of ripe blackberries, figs, and dried plums. Spicy notes of nutmeg and black pepper complement a backdrop of tobacco, leather, and a subtle hint balsamic and dark chocolate aroma. The palate is well balanced, lush, and structured, with soft tannins that lead to a long and very elegant finish. Pair with red meats, stir-fried beef and vegetables, pork chops, spaghetti with Bolognese sauce, lamb chops, and mushroom ravioli.

Mollydooker The Maître D’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 (McClaren Vale, Australia) $31.99/Bottle
The 2022 Maître D’ Cabernet is a wine with deep red and purple hues and a rich aroma. It’s complex and flavourful, with cherry and blackberry notes transitioning into hints of liquorice, cigar box, and mocha, all while maintaining fruit sweetness. This Cabernet is a well-balanced delight.

The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon erupts with a classic Quilceda Creek expression. A big, bold and boisterous wine, it presents a fresh, juicy attack with gobs of succulent, ripe, fresh fruit tones complemented by plenty of oak essences. The palate is full-bodied, fresh, layered and complex, showcasing balanced acidity and fine-grained tannins. The elongated finish suggests that while it can be enjoyed now, patience will be generously rewarded with additional years in the cellar. Concha Y Toro Don Melchor Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (Maipo Valley, Chile) $156.99/Bottle
Deep violet in color, intense, and with a great aromatic complexity of red fruits together with floral notes of violets and roses. On the palate, it is a tasty wine with a soft spell and a superb freshness, along with the elegance and power so characteristic of Puente Alto. Ink Grade 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle
The Ink Grade Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon opens with aromas of fresh cassis, pomegranate, and cocoa with elements of thyme, mint, candied orange peels, nutmeg, cloves, and paprika. The palate is linear throughout with a consistent mid-palate of bright and lifted acidity and well-integrated raw mountain tannins that close in a persistent finish.

Silver Oak Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 (Alexander Valley, California) $104.99/Bottle
The 2019 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has notes of red cherry, raspberry, blackberry, iris, vanilla, and clove. Ruby in color, this elegant wine has great acidity and lift on the mid-palate. Black currant and warm baking spices linger with a deep and fruity finish. It will provide drinking pleasure through 2047 given proper cellaring.

JUSTIN Isosceles 2019 (Paso Robles, California) $89.99/Bottle
Aromatic notes of ripe blackberry, juicy black plum, and cassis with dried violet, leather, vanilla bean, fresh herbs, camphor, and toasted oak. Full-bodied with baked black cherry pie, fresh mission fig, and black currant on the entry. The midpalate of new leather, fresh wild sage, porcini mushroom, dried black olive, and cedar is carried by balanced freshness and abundant velvety tannins that lead to a long, complex finish of sustained fresh berries, camphor, oak, toasted cinnamon stick, star anise, and dried flowers.

Robert Craig Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 (Napa Valley, California) $136.99
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon (Howell Mountain) is another fabulous wine in this range. Inky dark fruit, lavender, wildflowers, jasmine, spice, crème de cassis and pencil shavings are all beautifully delineated. This deep, potent Howell Mountain Cabernet delivers the goods. 96 – Vinious.
La Posta Pizella Malbec 2022 (Mendoza, Argentina) $17.99
A beautiful red and purple color with aromas of black cherries, dark fruits, dark chocolate and baker’s spice. On the palate the wine shows dense, dark berry and plum flavors along with hints of sandalwood and spice, and even a hint of violets in the finish. This is a full-bodied and well-structured wine that is incredibly full of life and born to be enjoyed with food and friends.
Masi Fresco di Masi Bianco (Verona, Italy) $19.99
Fresco di Masi is a new line of handcrafted organic wines, with a low alcohol content and authentic flavor profile. This Bianco is made from Garganega, Chardonnay, and Pinot Grigio grapes harvested at the coolest time of day and immediately vinified, Fresco di Masi Bianco has an attractive nose of fresh fruit and floral notes. The palate presents pineapple and citrus. excellent as an aperitif and with your favorite recipes, including classic Mediterranean dishes based on pulses, vegetables, fish, chicken and pork.
