3/06/2023 Newsletter
Greetings from the Wine Cellar:
As you may have heard…It is official! Mike has retired and entrusted me to carry on his legacy at the Old Town Wine Cellar serving fine wines to the Yuma community. Not to worry, Mike will still be around for a while to help me get a hang of how things workJ. I am super excited to take on this new adventure and am hosting an open house this Saturday March 11th, 2023 from noon to 6:00 PM. Hope you can stop by and join us. There will be some canapes and hors d’oeuvres (until they run out) and a Champagne toast between 2:00-3:00 pm.
Also, this Friday and Saturday, March 10th & 11th, the Yuma BBQ & Brew Festival returns to Historic Downtown Yuma. The festival will pack Main Street with mouthwatering BBQ, live country music performances both days, and lots of other attractions. Festival hours are Friday 4PM to 9PM and Saturday 10AM to 9PM. Admission is free and all ages are welcome to attend. As in past years, this will be a KCBS (Kansas City Barbeque Society) Licensed BBQ Competition, so there should be some really great BBQ to sample.
